I sometimes talk about 'money made visible' as a way of breaking out existing attitudes and behaviours towards money. I reckon they slipped something stronger than catnip in the bean bags when they thought this one up on Madison Avenue.  I know, lets make a piggy bank that talks, walks and has a big slot in his head.
